Our performance as investment managers is acknowledged internationally. Rating agencies, analysts and the media regularly emphasize our merits. For a list of some of the awards our business units have recently received, please see below.

AMERICAS

NFJ received two Lipper Fund Awards.

Nicholas-Applegate won two Lipper Fund Awards.

PIMCO investment team and Bill Gross were named 'Fund Leader of the Year' by Fund Action.

RCM won an award at the Pensions & Investment Provider awards 2009. RCM US received a Lipper Fund Award.

 

ASIA PACIFIC

RCM Asia Pacific won eight awards at the Lipper Fund Awards Hong Kong, as well as four awards at the Asia Asset Management awards. At the AsianInvestor Investment Performance Awards 2009, RCM was the recipient of two awards.


EUROPE

AllianzGI received the top ranking of five stars from the German business periodical, Capital, for the third time in succession, putting it among Germany’s best fund companies.

Allianz Global Investors France received two awards ("Trophées de Revenu" - from the French weekly magazine Le Revenu) for the performance of its bond fund range over three years (insurer category): the Silver Trophy for the international range, and Bronze Trophy for the Euro bond range.

Allianz Global Investors (UK) Ltd has been awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Money Observer Fund Awards 2009. 

AllianzGI Germany and cominvest funds received "15 Finanzen EURO" awards as well as 15 Lipper awards in categories including Eastern European Equities, German small caps and US bonds.

In Austria, Allianz Global Investors was awarded as Best Fund Group over 3 years in the category "Mixed Asset Groups - large" based on the superior risk-adjusted performance and consistent return of our balanced products.

RCM Sustainability Research Team was named leading Fund Management Firm for SRI in the Thomson Reuters Extel/UKSIF SRI & Sustainability 2009 Survey.

AMERICAS

Nicholas-Applegate was named “130/30 Equity Manager of the Year” by Professional Pensions magazine. In addition, four of NACM’s funds are ranked in the top ten, per Morningstar Separate Account/ Commingled Fund Database (Dec. 31, 2007) composite data.

 

PIMCO investment team and Bill Gross were named “Fixed-Income Fund Manager of the Year” for the third time in ten years. In addition, PIMCO received the Professional Pensions’ “Global Fixed Income Manager of the Year” award. PIMCO was also named “Credit Investor of the Year” by Derivatives Week magazine.

ASIA PACIFIC

AllianzGI Hong Kong won three Lipper Fund Awards for “Best Mixed Asset USD Aggressive Fund over 3 years”, “Best Equity Asia Pacific Small and Mid-Cap Fund over 3 years” and “Best Equity Korea Fund over 3 years”.

Nicholas-Applegate had one fund named one of the “Best Funds” by Zerion, South Korea’s fund information provider. 

RCM Asia Pacific received four Asia Asset Management awards for “Best MPF Manager” 3-year and 5-year and the “Global Equity Fund” 3-year and 5-year. RCM Asia was also awarded 12 Lipper Fund Awards in various categories. 

PIMCO was named “Fixed Interest Manager of the Year” at the annual Insto Standard & Poor’s Fund Awards in Australia.

EUROPE

AllianzGI Europe

• In Switzerland, Allianz Global Investors received the Morningstar 2008 Fund Award as “Best Large Equity Fund House.”

• In Austria, Allianz Global Investors received the Morningstar 2008 Fund Awards as “Best Large Fixed Income Fund House Austria” and “Best Multi-Asset Fund House Austria 2008”, 3rd place.

AllianzGI UK

• AllianzGI UK won the Best Emerging Markets Group at the January 29th Professional Advisor Magazine’s awards, at which the outstanding success and performance of the Allianz RCM BRIC Stars Fund was also recognized.

AMERICAS

The following AllianzGI entities were granted by Lipper Awards:

PIMCO

• Pimco has been awarded at the Lipper Fund Awards 2007, with one award for the Classification Dedicated Short Bias Funds (PIMCO StocksPLUS Short), with 17 Lipper Awards for Fixed Income Fund Performance Achievements and one for Equity Fund Performance Achievement.

NFJ

• NFJ has been awarded at the Lipper Fund Awards 2007 for the Classification Small-Cap Value Funds (Allianz NFJ Small Cap Value).
• A Lipper Award for Equity Fund Performance Achievements: International Multi-Cap Value (1yr)

Nicholas-Applegate

• NACM has been awarded at the Lipper Fund Awards 2007 for the Classification Pacific Region Funds (Allianz NACM Pacific Rim).
• A Lipper Award for Equity Fund Performance Achievements: Specific Region Funds (10 yr)

ASIA PACIFIC

AllianzGI Hong Kong won three Group Awards at the Asian Investor Achievement Awards. In addition, AllianzGI Hong Kong received the “Lipper Pension Funds Group Award Hong Kong” for 3-yr Mixed Assets and a Lipper Fund Award for “Best Mixed Asset USD Aggressive Fund over 3 Years”.

PIMCO was awarded “Global House Fund of the Year” by Asian Investor and won the “Five-Year Risk Adjusted Performance” award within the Global Fixed Income, Fixed category.

RCM won three Asian Investor Achievement awards.

RCM Asia Pacific received 7 pension fund Lipper Awards in the categories: MPF Growth: 3-yr and 5-yr; MPF Balanced: 3-yr and 5-yr; MPF Stable Growth: 5-yr; and MPF Capital Stable: 3-yr and 5-yr.

EUROPE

AGF Asset Management was placed 1st in the category “Mixed EUR Aggressive Euro Zone (3 yr)” and”Euro Obligations Plus (5yr)” at the Lipper Fund Awards in Paris. AGF Asset Management was also ranked 7th of 49 for larger Cap (1yr and 3yr) by Standard & Poor's in March.

AllianzGI Germany was the recipient of five Lipper Awards.

• PIMCO received "Global Fixed Income Manager of the Year" award by both Financial News and Global Pensions.

PIMCO/Allianz

• PIMCO/Allianz is awarded first place in the 2005 Barron's/Lipper Fund Families Survey.

ASIA PACIFIC

AllianzGI Hong Kong

• Allianz Global Investors Hong Kong was named Asset Manager of the Year at the Asia Risk Awards 2006. In addition, the company dominated the recent Lipper Fund Awards Hong Kong 2007, receiving nine accolades for various fund performances.

AllianzGI Korea

• AllianzGI Korea named "Best Corporate Governance Manager" by the Korean government for its exemplary management of the national pension fund.

PIMCO Australia

• PIMCO Australia received the Diversified Fixed Interest Fund Manager of the Year and Credit Fund Manager of the Year awards from Money Management and the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).

• Allianz RCM BRIC Stars Fund, one of UK's most successful fund launches in 2006, awarded 'A' rating by Standard & Poor's.

PIMCO

• PIMCO was named Investor of the Year 2005 by Securitization News.

• in Europe was recognized as High Yield Bond Manager of the Year by Pensions Management magazine.

Holland Beleggingsgroep

• Holland Beleggingsgroep wins the 2006 Standard & Poor's CASH Fund Award 'Best Manager in the category specialized groups for delivering an excellent and stable performance in 2005.

• PIMCO/Allianz is awarded first place in the 2005 Barron's/Lipper Fund Families Survey.
